What is Squadron AI?
Squadron AI is an AI powered code review, issue triage and repository management tool for GitHub.
How do I trigger a code review?
Within minutes of opening a pull request, Squadron AI will provide feedback on the code changes. This feedback includes suggestions for improvements, potential bugs, and security vulnerabilities. You can then chat with Squadron AI in the pull request comments to discuss the feedback. You can also tag Squadron in comments using "@squadronai review".
How do code reviews work?
Squadron will leave an overview of your pull request, which it will manage and keep up to date as your pull request evolves. It will review each file, and any linked issues, and provide feedback on the code changes. Squadron performs incremental reviews, so every time you push it will review just the new portions.
How are issues reviewed?
Issues are reviewed by Squadron AI in the same way as pull requests. When an issue is opened, Squadron AI will provide feedback on the issue description and any associated labels. You can then chat with Squadron AI in the issue comments to discuss the feedback. Issues associated to pull requests will be checked against the pull request changes.
How do you protect my data?
While we are working towards SOC2 compliance, we take the security of your data very seriously. We use industry standard data encryption at rest and in transit. We also have strict access controls in place to ensure that only authorized personnel can access our production servers. Code reviews are an ephemeral process and we do not store any code or data from your repositories. Use currently use Anthropic Claude as our LLM of choice and their policies explicitly state they do not use your data for training purposes.
What data do you store?
We only store metadata about your account and repositories. This includes information such as the repository name, the number of pull requests and issues, and the number of users in your organization. We do not store any code or data from your repositories.
How do I get started?
Visit our sign up page to get started. Once you have signed up, you will be able to install the Squadron AI GitHub app on your repositories. Once installed, Squadron AI will automatically start reviewing your pull requests and issues. You can then chat with Squadron AI in the pull request and issue comments to discuss the feedback.
